I love how my salary is less than anyone else on my team (excluding Mitch, our “student worker”), and yet I’m the go-to person when anyone needs help or advice on a project. I’m the one who makes all the new custom websites for campus organizations/offices; for instance I was just called into my superviser’s office to talk to the head of Recreational Sports about creating a custom template for them. I’m not necessarily complaining about how much I get paid in total- it’s just that I earn less than other people on my team who can’t do as much as me. Am I overreacting here?
I love my job, but ugh.
