This shirt would go purrfect with my shelter pants. And by shelter pants, I mean the special pair of jeans I don’t wear anywhere else but the animal shelter/humane society because they have so many pulls from kitten and puppies claws on them. ♥

I’m in love. I went to the Humane Society a few days ago and met this little cutie. She was a little shy at first, but after a few minutes she let me pick her up. Today I visited again, and somehow she remembered me! As soon as I sat down she hopped up on my lap and started nudging my hands to pet her, then licked my face a couple times before laying down for a short nap.

I’ve been looking for the perfect orange female kitten to name Marmalade (Marmie for short) for a year now, and I think this might be it. Though, I don’t have the cash on hand to buy her and I’m going on a week-long trip to SXSW in Austin in a few weeks, and I’d rather not leave her at home. Choices, choices…
